My father had a LUV about 23 years ago when I was 6 or 7. He was a pretty good mechanic but I distinctly remember him saying it was a PITA to keep running. It was all original. But it's probably similar to my 84' Nissan 720 these days- it's also a PITA to keep running, but it keeps running...
